EXPERTS IN IB, IGCSE & A-LEVEL Since 1997

IGCSE AND A-LEVELS COULD FACE DISRUPTION DUE TO CORONAVIRUS IN 2021

The teaching union is warning teachers and pupils because of a possible Coronavirus regrowth in 2021. This fact could again affect IGCSE and A-LEVELS exams according to the official reports.

For this reason, professionals are preparing to take measures and solutions in case this should happen. It’s very important to be preventive and get ahead to avoid all the circumstances that we have had this year. Pupils would have a good academic year without interruptions.

THE PLANS UNDER CONSIDERATION INCLUDE CONCENTRATING ON ASSESSMENTS

The option considered is working on assessments from May to as late as July and continuing this summer’s emergency marking system. The marking system saw teachers issuing grades based on individual students progress throughout the year.

Of course this warning alerts teachers, parents and students, but the teaching union asks us to keep calm because they’re considering every possibility and measure, saying that pupils will have a right to a fair review system… Although everything is uncertain.

Meanwhile, about this madness in 2020, teachers are preparing summer classes to help students catch up on the school work they have missed. As is the case at TutorASAP, which has their incredible 2020 summer courses with incredible news. For example, pupils can study without having to give up their swimming pool time.
